I Can't Help It - Off the Wall

about the way of love.
1. If I speak in human and angelic tongues, but do not have love, I am a resounding gong or a clashing cymbal.
2. And if I have the gift of prophecy, and comprehend all myteries and all knowlege;
if I have all faith so as to move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
3. If I give away everything I own, and if I hand my body over so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
4. Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, is not pompous, it is not inflated,
5. it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury
6. it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth
7. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8. Love never fails. If there are prophecies, they will be brought to nothing; if tongues, they will cease, if knowledge, it will be brought to nothing.
9. For we know partially and we prophesy partially,
10. but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away.
11. When I was a child, I used to talk as a child, think as a child, reason as a child; when I became a man, I put aside childish things.
12. At present we see indistinctly, as in a mirror, but then face to face.
At present I know partially; then I shall know fully as I am fully known.
13. So faith, hope, love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
2. And if I have the gift of prophecy, and comprehend all myteries and all knowlege;

Came across this today...don't ask how.

no wonder people ask me if I can comb my hair.
When people say they were trained to believe their hair was ugly, this is what they mean.
I love the usage of the word manageable.
Hair relaxing products are catered towards everyone these days.
Yes, I would put this in the "subtle" racism bin.

about Blue Valentine
You & Me by Penny and the Quarters
Ever since I saw Drive last weekend, I have been on a Ryan Gosling film binge. This makes me giggly and proud because I have been watching him since
I have just completed Blue Valentine and I now realize that his utter forgettableness is one of his greatest gifts as an actor. Although I always seem to forget Ryan Gosling, the characters he performs become so familiar. He disappears into them. They are like a childhood friend you once knew long ago. They moved away; you wish you kept in touch.
I whole heartedly recommend the following films, written for you in the order I viewed them:
Lars and the Real Girl (2007)
Directed by Craig Gillespie
Written by Nancy Oliver
Drive (2011)
Directed by Nicolas Winding Refn
The Notebook (2004)
Directed by Nick Cassavetes
Blue Valentine (2010)
Directed by Derek Cianfrance
After watching Blue Valentine, I recommend watching the Charlie Rose interview.

American Analog Set - Punk as Fuck
The US is a truly beautiful place. I had the pleasure of going on a beautiful hike while discovering plants. It made me feel punk as fuck.
